Abstract: The article substantiates the necessity of actualising the term “discursive-textual space” in the metalanguage of political linguistics and political linguistic personology. Additionally, it examines the correlation between the concepts of “text”, “discourse”, and “discursive-textual space”, as well as outlines contemporary approaches to the study of discourse and text. The relevance of employing the term “discursive-textual space” in the methodological analysis of political anthroponyms is characterised by focusing on those that constitute the “discursive-textual journalistic-political space” of the works of D. Dontsov’s linguistic person. It is illustrated aspectually through an analysis of the discursive-textual interpretation of the existential semantic-pragmatic meaning of political anthroponyms used in the defined space in various functions, particularly in strong and weak textual positions, as individually authored symbols, figurative devices, and representatives of intertextuality.
