Abstract<\/em><\/strong>: The article examines the valence potential of verb-terms \u0430\u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u043d\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438 and \u0434\u0438\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438. The three-component nature of their\u00a0 valence framework was substantiated, and the main lexical-semantic groups of words that explain all non-predicate arguments were
\ndefined. Typical morphological variants of addressee, object, and instrumental arguments were also established.
\nIt was found that the verb \u0430\u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u043d\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438 generates three non-predicate valenceconditioned components: the subject of the action (the\u00a0 person who performs the accompaniment), the addressee of the action (a musician or group of musicians who are accompanied), the\u00a0 instrument of action (actually a musical instrument on which a melody is performed for accompaniment). The subject component dependent\u00a0 on the verb \u0430\u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u043d\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438 is expressed by the names of persons (proper and common) either quantified or unquantified
\nsets of persons who accompany. The instrumental component, which is determined by the verb \u0430\u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u043d\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438, is most consistently realized\u00a0 by the names of musical instruments. It was emphasized that the verb \u0430\u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u043d\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438 is intransitive, therefore it can\u2019t determine
\nthe object component, despite its synonymy with the transitive verb \u0441\u0443\u043f\u0440\u043e\u0432\u043e\u0434\u0436\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438 (orchestra, choir, etc.).
\nThe trivalency of the verb-term \u0434\u0438\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438 has been established. The non-predicate components of the subject of the action (the person\u00a0 who conducts), of the object of the action (a piece of music that is conducted), and of the instrument of the action (an instrument
\nused to conduct) in its valence environment. Among all the components that cause the verb \u0434\u0438\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438, the object of action has the broadest\u00a0 lexical-semantic content, represented by proper and general names of musical groups, works, and their fragments.
\nA conclusion was made about the semi-obligatory usage of the instrument of the action with the verb \u0430\u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u043d\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438 and the optional usage\u00a0 with the verb \u0434\u0438\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438, the difference in its lexical-semantic expression was noted. The instrumental component, which is determined by\u00a0 the verb \u0430\u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u043d\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438, is most consistently implemented by the names of musical instruments; in the verb \u0434\u0438\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0443\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438 it is lexically limited\u00a0 by the nouns hand and stick.<\/p>\n
