Abstract<\/em><\/strong>:The main problems of modern terminology science are being discussed. It is pointed out that due to various global processes (social, political,\u00a0 informational, economical, intercultural, emigrational, etc.) and the number of quality terminological literature drastically dropped there is no methodical\u00a0 coordination of terminological research. The authors suggest a number of promising directions of typological studies of national, branch and specialised
\nterminologies alongside with comparative interdisciplinary and multilingual analyses of special languages.<\/p>\n
