Abstract<\/em><\/strong>: The article deals with the semantic-functional analysis of socio-political lexicon of L.M.\u00a0Kravchuk. The most relevant thematic groups of vocabulary are highlighted, his role as an upgrader of the Ukrainian political thought of the late XX century is stressed, which ensures the active formation and functioning of national political discourse.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the article is to analyze the political vocabulary of L.M.\u00a0Kravchuk the first president of Ukraine during the period of independence. The material for analysis is selected from his speeches, interviews, press conferences, briefings (Leonid Kravchuk\u2019s publication \u0404 \u0442\u0430\u043a\u0430 \u0434\u0435\u0440\u0436\u0430\u0432\u0430 \u2013 \u0423\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u0430<\/em> (There is such a state \u2013 Ukraine, <\/em>published in Kyiv in 1992). The vocabulary analysis is conducted for the first time.<\/p>\n

In the political discourse of L.M.\u00a0Kravchuk on the basis of structural and semantic analysis of the language of his journalism, we distinguish the following thematic groups: names of bodies of state power: (\u0443\u0440\u044f\u0434<\/em>, \u043f\u0430\u0440\u043b\u0430\u043c\u0435\u043d\u0442<\/em>, \u0412\u0435\u0440\u0445\u043e\u0432\u043d\u0430 \u0420\u0430\u0434\u0430<\/em>); names of political governmental forms, arrangements, currents: (\u0434\u0435\u0440\u0436\u0430\u0432\u0430<\/em>, \u0441\u0443\u0441\u043f\u0456\u043b\u044c\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/em>, \u0434\u0435\u043c\u043e\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0442\u0456\u044f<\/em>); names of political parties, associations, meetings, social groups: (\u0421\u043e\u044e\u0437<\/em>, \u0456\u043c\u043f\u0435\u0440\u0456\u044f<\/em>); names of political and historical processes: (\u0440\u0435\u0444\u043e\u0440\u043c\u0430<\/em>, \u043a\u043e\u0440\u0443\u043f\u0446\u0456\u044f<\/em>); names of documents, laws, resolutions: (\u0434\u043e\u043a\u0443\u043c\u0435\u043d\u0442<\/em>, \u041a\u043e\u043d\u0441\u0442\u0438\u0442\u0443\u0446\u0456\u044f<\/em>); names of ethnic communities: (\u043d\u0430\u0446\u0456\u044f<\/em>, \u043d\u0430\u0440\u043e\u0434<\/em>); names of socio-economic processes, concepts, monetary units: (\u043a\u043e\u043c\u0435\u0440\u0446\u0456\u0430\u043b\u0456\u0437\u0430\u0446\u0456\u044f<\/em>, \u043a\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0438\u0442<\/em>); names of direct policy subjects: (\u043f\u0440\u0435\u0437\u0438\u0434\u0435\u043d\u0442<\/em>, \u043c\u0456\u043d\u0456\u0441\u0442\u0440<\/em>); names of diplomatic concepts:(\u043a\u043e\u043d\u0446\u0435\u0441\u0456\u044f<\/em>, \u043a\u043e\u043c\u044e\u043d\u0456\u043a\u0435<\/em>); names of parties\u2019 supporters: (\u043d\u0430\u0446\u0456\u043e\u043d\u0430\u043b\u0456\u0441\u0442<\/em>, \u043d\u0430\u0446\u0456\u043e\u043d\u0430\u043b-\u0448\u043e\u0432\u0456\u043d\u0456\u0441\u0442<\/em>); names of individual subjects of any activity: (\u0441\u043f\u043e\u0436\u0438\u0432\u0430\u0447<\/em>, \u043f\u0430\u0440\u0442\u043d\u0435\u0440<\/em>); names of individual activities: (\u043f\u0440\u0435\u0437\u0438\u0434\u0435\u043d\u0442\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/em>, \u043f\u0430\u0440\u0442\u043d\u0435\u0440\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/em>); the names of the moral and ideological sphere of public life: (\u043f\u0456\u0434\u043f\u0440\u0438\u0454\u043c\u043b\u0438\u0432\u0456\u0441\u0442\u044c<\/em>, \u043d\u0430\u043f\u043e\u043b\u0435\u0433\u043b\u0438\u0432\u0456\u0441\u0442\u044c<\/em>).<\/p>\n

It is shown that semantic and evaluative lexemas\u2019 dynamic is shown by their syntagmatic relations, including connectivity. Examples of extensions of linear text connections of a word in Kravchuk\u2019s discourse are adjectives: \u0441\u043e\u0446\u0456\u0430\u043b\u044c\u043d\u0438\u0439<\/em>, \u0435\u043a\u043e\u043d\u043e\u043c\u0456\u0447\u043d\u0438\u0439<\/em>, \u0456\u043c\u043f\u0435\u0440\u0441\u044c\u043a\u0438\u0439<\/em>, \u0434\u0435\u043c\u043e\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0442\u0438\u0447\u043d\u0438\u0439<\/em>, \u0440\u0438\u043d\u043a\u043e\u0432\u0438\u0439<\/em>, \u043c\u0438\u0442\u043d\u0438\u0439<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Public Speeches of the First President of Ukraine L.M.\u00a0Kravchuk convincingly reveals the individuality of his style, including the use of synonymous means: \u0434\u0443\u043c\u043a\u0430 \u2013 \u043c\u0438\u0441\u043b\u0435\u043d\u043d\u044f \u2013 \u043c\u0456\u0440\u043a\u0443\u0432\u0430\u043d\u043d\u044f \u2013 \u0442\u0432\u0435\u0440\u0434\u0436\u0435\u043d\u043d\u044f \u2013 \u043f\u0435\u0440\u0435\u043a\u043e\u043d\u0430\u043d\u043d\u044f \u2013 \u0441\u0443\u0434\u0436\u0435\u043d\u043d\u044f \u2013 \u043f\u043e\u0433\u043b\u044f\u0434<\/em>. Journalism created by L.M.\u00a0Kravchuk is rich in idiomatic phrasal phrases and terminological persistent phrases. Phraseological and terminological units under consideration perform an important intensification role, in particular, act as expressive markers of his political thought.<\/p>\n
